A new charcoal portrait I did for the Super Big Micro Show coming up at Gallery Nucleus. It's a show of a bunch of animation artists doing tiny works of art. I did this drawing based on my Dad's old photo's. These were taken around 1941 of some of my Dad's cousins.

Teal Slumped

Okay one more tonight, I really like this model. She takes a lot of interesting poses with a lot of personality.

Pensive Pirate

Another drawing from model night. It's always a fun challenge to work on costumed models.

Jennifer with pole

On Tuesdays we have model night after work. I don't always get to go every week but I try to.

Skating Gator

Haven't posted in a while. But I have been working on a lot of stuff so I'll try and catch up a bit.
I did this for my Xmas card this year.

I've been so busy at work I've gotten way behind in my postings!
These are a couple of cards I did for the Girls Drawin' Girls.

This sketch is from the same book as the drawing below. I hope I don't have to work late tomorrow and can go to model drawing night after work.

This sketch was done from an old glamour photography book. Old photos have such beautiful lighting.

This is a really interesting model. He has a lot of character.

There's so many interesting people at Comic-Con I wish I could draw them all. I'm not sure what her costume was but I love the idea of being in a seminar dressed as a mysterious character.

I wish the zoo had more alligators. They're my favorite animal. I need to go on another trip to Florida.

I did this one later from a photo I took, trying out aquash watercolor crayons.

I love hanging out at the zoo drawing. The koalas were surprisingly active  that day.
